The MLT-100 is a miniaturized laser communication terminal for high-performance backbone networks. Main application areas are the interconnection of high-flying platforms (e.g. stratospheric platforms or passenger airliners) and the setup of relay scenarios using a combination of an MLT-20 (e.g. on a small UAV) and an MLT-100 on a larger relay platform.
